    Here is an extremely nice 1973 Triumph TR6 in very pretty Old English White paint, brand new reflective red racing stripes on both front fenders, luggage rack, just added Grand Sport stripes to complement the expensive Coker Classic 185/15 red line radial tires, rear quarter British flag, great appearance for local shows, very nice correct biscuit interior and carpet kit, car presents very well with the red line tires, all gauges work as set in the extremely nice wood dash, features the excellent 2.5 liter, 6 cylinder engine, dual carbs, stock intake system, precious owner did valve and ring work, hard to accomplish rebuilt factory distributor just installed, items like proper battery show cables and hold down just installed for top presentation, the new Anza dual exhaust system just installed, Summer 2014 full tune by top English tech including fresh setting of valves, the carbs are set, oil, filter, this work yields strong running that makes this TR6 work and drive really terrific, good black soft-top, full tonneau cover, has tool kit with spare, TR6 handbook,

    this drives superbly with very strong and smooth power with road test just completed, the suspension very tight with excellent bushings, this is believed a very original vehicle with Georgia history and lots of attention to fresh maintenance, new front lower spoiler, really looks nice with recent top cosmetic paint presentation and the front diagonal racing stripes, proper 4-speed transmission with stock shifter, restored stock steel wheels, proper trim rings, really tracks great with no wheel ‘bounce’, lots of suspension work with good shocks and uprated bushings, really excellent solid nicely just very solid just cleaned frame on underchassis, nice body with good lines, local driven show quality with nice ‘eyes’, whole package is presented with lots of numbers seen in this report, buffing and polishing for Summer 2014 shows and enjoyment,

    History: here is a British sports car that is truly fun to drive along with smooth performance from the very strong power from the 6 cylinder engine, excellent design for fun and maintenance, these TR6s are a great investment with terrific support of parts and knowledgeable people who can fix them, this particular car has a large file for history, this has excellent history with copies of South Georgia title history going back many years, this is a virtually rust free 1973 TR6 that is a low mileage vehicle from the South, believe this to be a 62,900 from new in 40 years plus the restoration work, drives so very solid, Note the list of NUMBERS LINK to show about this nice TR6, the final work to ‘refresh’ this most original TR6 was just completed in North Georgia, these very solid and unmolested TR6s really drive exceptionally well just as does this one with a dry weight of only 2280 lbs and the upgrades mentioned,

    BODY: Very nice British White paint that appears very rust free, brand new reflective red racing stripes on both front fenders, car presents very well with the red line tires, all the body panels are believed original, the sides nice, according to the British Leyland information, this is called ’19-white’ used for 1969 to 1976, the modern paint is DuPont ‘43182’ color, there are but a very few minor touch ups that have just been competently worked, they are hard to see, then full buffing of the car just completed by a top professional ‘finisher’, very nice luster, has a period rear chrome luggage rack to set off the sporty appearance, driver’s side outside chrome bullet mirror,

    A high point are the original very solid floors with no undercoating, nicely just detailed and painted with the handwork by the Fraser Dante shop just completed, (LINK) the bumpers appear to be original from new in fine condition with but a bit of patina that one can see closely, hard to find ‘original’ so nice for a fun driven show car, has nice original chrome bumpers, shows only a bit of patina that yields reassurance as original, believed to be valuable in such good condition for 40 years,

    ENGINE: very strong and clean engine bay, the engine features the excellent 2.5 liter straight 6 cylinder, strong torque lbs with 2.94” bore and 3.74” stroke strong torque especially with this fresh ring, head and engine work, dual Stromberg Carburetors, Stanpart Aluminum intake manifold #88312187, cylinder head #312388, engine block #CF253CY (SEE LINK), with dry cold reading compression just taken of 120 to 125 lbs that is within only 5 lbs apart and according to the last owner, these rings and head work have not seated yet as have about 300 miles, this goes in line with the history of the stock 7.5:1 compression with the fresh head and valve work just completed, fresh final setting of valves and carbs by top English car tech just completed, just for Spring 2014, the hard to accomplish rebuilt factory distributor just installed (SEE LINK),these units are not reproduced so this effort takes exacting knowledge and great expense,

    the new Anza dual exhaust system makes the engine sounds ‘crisp’ and more power when driving in the final road test, for show presentation and good spark, new expensive battery cables with negative and positive and tray from Moss Motors just installed along with a strong battery, see the recent photos showing this installation, the coolant and oil levels checked, radiator coolant flushed, new spark plugs and wires, all stock cooling shields for better cooling, desired stock exhaust, the 4-speed transmission works properly with stock shifter and new handle, final tune by British tech with his work just documented (SEE LINK),

    INTERIOR: many items include the very nice full bucket seats and carpets with the stock biscuit color, appears redone once now in fine condition, there is only but a minor blemish in the base of the driver’s seat, about 1/8” that is just touched up, all the matching side panels are new, very good teak proper dash panel, working Smith gauges, Clarion AM/FM/CD head unit, good bezels, nice black carpet kit, has the dual cross seat belts, full tonneau cover, full spare tire assembly, Owners Manual (LINK),

    BRAKES AND SUSPENSION: the suspension is really most solid, all aspects such as KYB shocks, really tracks well with virtually no movement in wheels when driving, all the recent work includes full check of braking system for safety just completed, these brakes are terrific, (LINK), the expensive Coker Classic 185/R15 dual red line radial tires are virtually new and mounted on the stock steel wheels with proper trim rings as factory, these are better tires than stock and an important area that make this handle so well, this nice suspension is confirmed with driving test just performed for customers before leaving the Fraser Dante shop,
    Summary: this is great fun to drive, very nice and well presented original underchassis, absolutely top mechanicals, hard to find with items of all working gauges, nice wood dash, history of the previous restoration work, really lots of fun for immediate enjoyment for someone who want to enjoy a very solid classy British Roadster for Summer 2014, only
